There are plenty of stainless fabricators out there. Not all of them are going to be the right one, though. Before you choose to partner with one, here are a few things you’ll want to factor in first:

Capabilities

What kind of capabilities does the company have? Is it large enough to handle your order? How much volume does it normally handle? Ask so you’ll get a better sense of what their average workload is and if your order is going to put them in a tight spot. The last thing you want is to end up with production delays.

Materials

What kind of materials does the company normally work with? You want to make sure they work with materials in the size or thickness that you prefer or that works with your project requirements. Do they work with the metal type you need? Find out before you decide.

Recommendations

You can always reach out to contacts you have in the business and ask them for tips or suggestions to point you in the right direction, says Countertop Investigator. Referrals and advice from contacts you trust can give you a better idea about the companies you want to add to your list of prospective stainless fabricators.

Customer service

Problems are going to happen. That’s normal and to be expected. Given that, though, you’ll want to partner up with a company that delivers excellent customer service. That way, if anything happens, you can count on their assistance and support to make things easier for you and your team. If they go above and beyond in their duties, you can rely on them to help pull you through any tough times ahead.

Location

Some fabricators have locations overseas. That could mean longer production times or delays, though. That’s not going to be ideal for you if you’re on a tight time table.
