If you have finished shopping for condos on the Las Vegas Strip because you have finally found your home, it is time to start decorating. There are a number of ways you can enhance the look of your new condo to get the most out of your space, natural light and modern features using these five decorating tips:

1. Amplify Light and Space: Mirrors can be used to enhance your space and light. Rooms with maximum light just need a mirror positioned to reflect the light back out to darker areas. Rooms that are smaller can have mirrors positioned to open the space using light and reflection to give the illusion of a more open area. You can also use mirrors to amplify height hanging them above focal points such as couches or beds.

2. Transparent Ideas: The transparency of glass allows you to decorate with more light and space. If you choose a glass top table or coffee table suddenly the heaviness of the wood is removed and allows you to create a far more airy look. You can also use glass for partition walls or shelving with glass backing or levels. Glass can replace any heavy materials and are even more ethereal when combined with metals that will also reflect light.

3. Neutralize with Color: Monotone or light and neutral palettes open spaces as well as offer a perfect backdrop for your furnishings and art. You can use a focal point by adding a bright or darker color which will also help create the illusion of length when positioned properly. Open looks are easily achieved with the use of pale blues and greens and white is always a lovely ethereal color that is warm and inviting.

4. Utilize Natural Light: Natural light is always a good thing. It is easy on the eyes and offers soft yet bright light to open spaces. You can take advantage of natural light by keeping windows free of obstruction, using mirrors and installing blinds. Blinds offer privacy without obscuring light like heavy drapes or letting people see into your space like sheers.

5. Float Furniture: Choosing furniture that either has exposed legs that allow for space to show below or furniture that is mounted off of the floor such as credenzas and shelving units will add the illusion of space. The more floor you can see the larger a room appears.

These five decorating tips will let you enhance your space, bring in more light and create a warm and inviting home.
