If you are a wine lover who enjoys a fun day out, grab your partner, friend or anyone else you want to be with and head for the Kansas City vineyards. The wines, ciders and coolers you’ll find there are undeniably flavorful. The events are loads of fun, and there is no entry fee for many of them.
You’ll find a variety of white wines at the vineyards, one of which tastes like a combination of pineapples, apricots and honey. Red and rosè wines are also available. The crisp ciders you’ll be able to enjoy include flavors like pineapple, blackberry, peach and strawberry. Refreshing frozen wine cooler sticks are available in sangria, peach, and lemon and lime flavors.
The festival events at the vineyard include an egg hunt for humans and one for canines. While you have fun sipping your favorite wine or cider, your dog can have a jolly good time eating the doggie treats placed all over the farm. The wine walk is an event that celebrates Mother’s Day with samples of wine and cake. A wine-tasting glass is given as a souvenir, and live entertainment, a food truck and a photo booth are there for even more enjoyment. Other events include a cider and slush festival, a donut dash, and a sunflower fest. The sunflower festival has lots of activities for the kids and red sunflower wine for the adults.
