According to the research done, this drywall was discovered to contain gypsum, which has been pointed out to be most likely culprit. Some experts said that if the process of removing sulfur used in making of the drywall was not done properly, the resulting product would have problems. However, the real cause with the Chinese drywall is still not clear.
