Your home’s plumbing system is divided into the water coming into your house and the sewage leaving your house. Water comes from the water main, is distributed through different pipes, and then is collected again as it leaves your house. A problem can occur in any one of those parts. There are some signs of problems in your house that can also help you determine the source of the issue.

Multiple Blockages

If you have multiple blockages in your house, then you likely have a sewer main problem. If one drain is clogged, it could be a problem with that single drain. You’ll need to snake that drain or use a liquid rooter. Only use liquid rooters that are approved by professionals from a service such as Business Name.

In contrast to clogs in one drain, if it seems as though you have clogs in multiple drains, then you have a serious problem. Since wastewater from your plumbing system collects in the sewer main as it leaves your house, a blockage of the main would mean that the wastewater cannot leave. That will often manifest as blockages in multiple drains.

Weak Water Pressure

If you’re having weak water pressure issues, the problem could be your water main. The water being piped into your house is divided through several different pipes. If you have water main issues, then the problem will be present in all of your faucets and fixtures. If you have problems with only one or two faucets, it’s likely a problem further in your pipe system.

Professional plumbers will be able to help you determine the source of your problem and solve it. If it’s actually a problem with a water or sewer main, then the plumbers will need to snake far into your pipes. That is a job best left to professionals. You can also connect them on Facebook.
